Key Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the retaining wall and bridge construction market by acquiring new or supporting existing customers and managing activity breakdowns, performance milestones, resource requirements, and expense budgets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, designers, engineers, developers, installers, and government and municipal agencies.
  • Research market trends and activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Promote and sell solutions to potential customers.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and technical solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in alignment with company standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A strong desire to hunt for new business - Enjoy the thrill of the hunt that comes with prospecting, negotiating, and closing new accounts.
  • Don’t be afraid of cold calls.
  • Creativity - Use your creativity to cultivate relationships, follow hunches, explore opportunities, and serve clients that we didn’t anticipate.
  • Minimum of 5 years in sales, business development or project management in the construction or infrastructure sector.
  • Familiarity with retaining wall systems, bridge construction, and engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Google Suite.
