What You'll Do
- Sets customer price for each terminal and product where supply is available to sell and enters pricing changes into software for distribution based on daily research.
- Maintains competitive edge by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, marketing and techniques, etc.
- Monitors competition and assesses possible revenue opportunities and financial benefits for the group to determine optimum marketing returns.
- Monitors competitor products and netback structure.
- Lifts NYMEX contracts on a daily basis and contacts non-compliant customers.
- Manages customer credit issues, payment problems, and supply outages to maintain relationships while adhering to Metroplex standards.
- Aids in the development and execution of marketing materials to drive new sales initiatives.
- Collaborates with the supply team to address customer inventory demands and forecasts.
- Attends offsite customer meetings and participates in regional, state, and national conferences.
- Arranges web portal and DTN software set up per customer.
- Assists sales managers with new business development and account management.
- Supports the Sales Managers, Operations Manager, and Director of Unbranded Marketing with various duties as needed.
- Performs administrative tasks to complete the sales cycle, including daily pricing, forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance, correspondence, and communications.
- Calculates figures such as price discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, and volumes.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with a focus on business, finance, logistics, communications, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years professional experience in finance, logistics, or business administration preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with logistics software is a plus.
