About the role
As a Sales Analyst (Contractor), you will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth.
Location: Remote (USA)
Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain detailed sales reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Assist in sales forecasting by analyzing historical data and market conditions to predict future sales performance.
- Identify inefficiencies in sales processes and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to align strategies and ensure data-driven decision-making.
- Provide support for special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed by the sales leadership team.
Requirements
- Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Sheets, Google Slides, BigQuery, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce for data management and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings and recommendations effectively.
- Ability to identify challenges and propose practical solutions to improve sales processes.
- High level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in sales analysis, business analytics, or a related field.
- Certifications in data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) are a plus.
Pay
The compensation for this position is $59/hour to $64/hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and work location. This rate reflects the hourly wage only and does not include benefits.
