Key Responsibilities

  • Support Account Managers in winning new client projects, preparing quotes, proposals, and specifications with Milan HQ.
  • Manage custom and bespoke client requests directly with Milan’s product teams, from feasibility through final specification.
  • Manage inbound project requests in the CRM, following up promptly to convert opportunities into orders.
  • Convert approved quotes into confirmed, accurately documented orders.
  • Serve as clients’ primary point of contact, building the trust and responsiveness that keeps them coming back.
  • Cook up close with HQ’s Operations and Logistics teams to ensure flawless execution, not by managing post-sale operations directly, but by keeping the client, Account Manager, and HQ aligned throughout.
  • Track orders through delivery and installation, flagging and resolving delays with HQ before they reach the client.
  • Keep CRM and project trackers accurate and current for full visibility across U.S. and Italian teams.
  • Support Account Managers with client presentations, proposals, and meeting prep.
  • Represent Artemest at design events and industry gatherings as a brand ambassador.
  • Look for ways to improve how the New York hub operates as we scale.
  • Cook up with the Miami and LA coordinators on multi-region projects for consistent execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Business, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, order management, or client-facing support, ideally in design, interiors, or luxury goods.
  • An entrepreneurial, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset suited to a fast-growing, fast-changing business.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple open orders and deadlines at once.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confidence liaising with clients and international HQ teams.
  • A genuine passion for Italian craftsmanship, design, and the luxury interiors market.
