About the role
As an Automotive Sales Advisor, you will develop relationships, provide exceptional guest experiences, and innovate within the automotive industry. Your role involves responding to customer inquiries about vehicles advertised online via phone and email, assisting in-store customers through the buying process, and building a referral network using the Asbury selling process.
Responsibilities
- Contact and communicate with customers to identify needs using the Asbury selling process.
- Build rapport with customers to establish a referral network.
- Respond to internet leads within the store’s required timeframe and provide product information with pricing via email.
- Answer sales phone calls and schedule customer appointments.
- Confirm appointments and make outbound calls to follow up on inquiries, post-sale, and repeat business.
- Conduct test drives and vehicle walk-arounds with customers.
- Guide customers through the entire buying process from start to finish.
- Maintain professional business attire and appearance.
- Utilize and maintain a customer relations management (CRM) database.
Requirements
- Minimum of eighteen years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug test).
- Self-motivated and team-oriented.
- Strong computer and phone skills.
- Motivation to succeed and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to create and maintain customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Prior automotive sales, retail experience, customer service, call center, or business development experience is a plus.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
