Sales Advisor I
This is a hybrid role located in Santa Monica, California, with the expectation that work will regularly take place both inside and outside of our office.
Responsibilities
- Supports team in achieving core KPIs by building and maintaining dashboards and providing updates against KPIs.
- Responsible for data quality, dashboards, pipeline maintenance, and Series A client acquisition/market share goals.
- Liaises with sales ops and CRM data stewards.
- Supports the production of client-facing events hosted by the Relationship Management team, including coordinating pre- and post-event follow-up.
- Coordinates sales campaigns.
- Provides client support and communication, including daily client inquiries, coordinating responses about letters of credit and credit cards, and engaging with clients on due diligence, regulatory, and information completeness requests.
- Develops strong relationships with key clients, ecosystem stakeholders (including accelerators and incubator groups), and third-party providers.
- Manages data sources and CRM to identify top clients and prospects, determine cross-sell opportunities, and pinpoint pain points in the sales process.
- Inputs meeting notes, presents and aggregates relevant information for calls and visits, and attends client meetings to take detailed notes.
- Assists the Director with new business development opportunities and strategic initiatives using Outreach, InMail, and ZoomInfo.
- Develops and maintains a strong understanding of SVB’s products to anticipate client needs.
- Maps client events and networks with industry contacts to gain competitive insights and best practices.
- Maintains professional relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
- Manages time effectively, prioritizes tasks, drives processes, and escalates issues when necessary.
- Adapts to changing demands and requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 0 years of experience, or High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in a sales pipeline management role.
Preferred Skills
- 2+ years of administrative or other professional experience.
- Expertise in Excel pivot table generation, PitchBook, and Outreach.IO; serves as the team’s primary resource for these tools.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
Pay
If hired in California, the base pay for this position is generally between $30.30 and $40.87 per hour. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
