Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities within the Northern California territory.
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, landscape architects, municipalities, schools, developers, and property owners.
- Possess strong knowledge of artificial turf products, applications, and installation processes.
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and product presentations.
- Develop proposals and coordinate with estimating and operations teams.
- Negotiate pricing, project scope, and contract terms.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and CRM records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Represent ProGreen at industry functions, trade shows, and networking events.
- Achieve or exceed established sales and revenue goals.

Education And/or Experience
- Previous sales experience in the turf industry.
- Proven track record of generating new business and closing sales opportunities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory.
- Must reside within the Northern California region.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly.
Travel
- Travel throughout Northern California to meet with prospective and existing customers.
- Conduct onsite consultations and project evaluations to assess customer needs and recommend solutions.
- Visit residential, commercial, and municipal project sites as part of the sales process.
- Gather project information, measurements, and requirements needed to prepare proposals.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required for customer meetings, trade shows, or company events.
Computer Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams).
- Experience using CRM software to manage leads, opportunities, and customer relationships.
- Ability to prepare proposals, estimates, and sales presentations.
- Comfortable using mobile devices, tablets, and cloud-based applications in the field.
- Experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Teams or Zoom.
