Sales Account Manager, Jr.

About the role

Supports the Company in the fundamental role of achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

Responsibilities

• Uses telemarketing to sell product and services
• Uses telemarketing to expand customer base
• Receives, prioritizes, and prices quotes for customers
• Records and maintains customer account profiles and activities
• Reviews purchase orders and quality requirements to ensure correct processing
• Follows up as necessary to ensure order completion
• Collaborates with and supports Regional Sales Managers
• Mets or exceeds gross profit goals given
• Communicates appropriately with upper management on issues
• Stays knowledgeable of our competition’s products and services, researches, and memorizes what products are made by which manufacturers

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
• At least one year work experience, either in a sales or customer service position
• Computer skills, including the ability to operate Microsoft Office programs and inventory software
• Basic understanding of strategic or corporate sourcing
• Excellent written communication skills, including grammar and spelling ability
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks well
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to continue training and development to self-enhance personal performance
