Sales Account Manager - Dealer Sales
About the Role
We currently have an opening for an Account Manager, Dealer Sales in our Arizona/New Mexico territory. This role involves building and maintaining direct sales with small to medium size companies in a highly competitive market, creating and implementing business plans, and fostering mutually profitable customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain direct sales with small to medium size companies in a competitive market.
- Create and implement business plans to drive sales growth.
- Develop and nurture mutually profitable customer relationships.
- Identify and close new business opportunities independently.
- Demonstrate excellent time management, follow-up, and prioritization skills in a dynamic market.
- Apply a basic understanding of accounting principles to help customers improve profitability.
- Utilize outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Leverage CRM software and Microsoft Office programs proficiently.
- Travel an average of 2-3 nights per week within the Arizona and New Mexico territory.
- Maintain residence in Arizona with a commutable distance to a major airport.
- Thrive in a home office environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior experience selling building products or construction-related materials is helpful.
- Proven track record as a self-starter with the ability to work independently.
