Sales Account Manager

About the role

MORryde is seeking to expand its Sales Team with the addition of Sales Account Managers to support its metal fabrication division and OEM customer base. The fabrication division spans over 1,000,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, equipped with advanced machinery including robotic and manual press brakes, flat sheet lasers, robotic weld cells, CNC mills and lathes, tube lasers, and multiple powder coat lines.

Responsibilities

• Grow the account base by prospecting and cold calling
• Manage a diverse customer base through relationship-based selling
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members, both verbally and in writing
• Work closely with the Engineering Department to design solutions
• Determine feasibility of production with the Production Team
• Sourcing materials with the Purchasing Team
• Build strong relationships by finding solutions to meet customer needs
• Collaborate across all departments at MORryde to ensure solutions are fulfilled

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing sales experience preferred but not required
• Strong ability to manage a diverse customer base
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently
• High attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment
• Mechanically inclined, hands-on approach to problem solving
