Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate new opportunities, assess requirements, and provide accurate and prompt quotations to the customer.
- Enter and process incoming sales orders and add them to all relevant schedules.
- Work collaboratively with Engineering and Outside Sales to quote new projects.
- Manage active projects and communicate concerns related to parts, scheduling, etc.
- Manage product/project deviations as necessary.
- Maintain due dates and other project details as changes occur.
- Monitor status of and communicate with customers on incoming customer-supplied materials.
- Collaborate across all company functions including sales operations, engineering, and quality.
- Contribute to process efficiency and customer experience continuous improvement efforts.
- Strive through each interaction to become an Entrusted Partner to our customers.
Education Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in the manufacturing environment.
- Prior sales or application engineering experience in a configured or engineered to order manufacturing is preferred.
