About the role
The Sales Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for managing sales growth in an assigned portfolio of accounts. Through customer relationship skills and fact-based selling, the SAM meets or exceeds annual business objectives and supports the long-term growth of Coca-Cola Consolidated Inc. This in-person role ensures execution of the commercial strategy across multiple channels and involves travel to various customer locations within the Raleigh, NC area. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between stores, and you will use your personal vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Generates sales growth in assigned account base through execution of commercial strategies and contracts
- Builds and maintains profitable customer relationships
- Executes and closes all sales calls daily
- Ensures execution of all pre-sold/mandatory elements in outlet for full duration of program
- Sells incremental packages, displays, and equipment
- Ensures positive ROI for the company on all sold-in elements
- Collaborates effectively with internal stakeholders, including The Center of Support, field sales, and distribution roles
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 3 years of work experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Current vehicle liability insurance, as specified by the company
- Personal vehicle for use during working hours
Qualifications
- 1+ years of previous sales experience preferred
- Food/beverage industry experience preferred
- Ability to create and conduct sales presentations
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Proficient in computer applications
- Ability to use and understand mobile applications
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field

$52,000.00 - $71,000.00 (salaried, depending on experience)
