Key Responsibilities
- Drive continuous alignment through multiple, weekly in-person sessions at Comcast HQ.
- Serve as the primary face of Vantiva to ensure seamless communication with Comcast.
- Own Vantiva’s execution of Comcast’s Long-Range Plan (LRP) and maintain a rigorous 12-month rolling forecast.
- Maintain a 12-month rolling forecast to ensure business predictability.
- Act as the "conductor" across Vantiva’s global departments, synchronizing efforts to meet the specific technical and commercial demands of the Comcast account.
- Build and navigate a complex map of stakeholder relationships to establish deep ties with Comcast’s senior leadership and decision-makers.
- Ensure Comcast’s strategic goals are integrated into our internal product roadmaps and service delivery models.
- Lead the end-to-end development of commercial proposals, ensuring deals create value for all stakeholders.
- Partner closely with Vantiva operations to guarantee supply chain resilience, ensuring product availability aligns with Comcast’s deployment schedules.
- Facilitate "Engineering Excellence" by bridging the gap between Comcast’s technical requirements and Vantiva’s R&D teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in senior account management or business development, specifically managing "Tier 1" accounts.
- Deep, prior experience working directly with Comcast is highly preferred; alternatively, a proven track record navigating other major Network Service Providers (NSPs) or MSOs.
- Prior experience managing Fortune 500 technology accounts, with the ability to navigate multi-year contract cycles and high-volume hardware/software deployments.
- Advanced knowledge of the broadband landscape, specifically DOCSIS and PON architectures, alongside a strong grasp of Wi-Fi 7 and next-gen video CPE standards, preferred.
- The ability to translate industry shifts (like the move to 10G or edge computing) into actionable business opportunities for the client.
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field.
- An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is considered a significant advantage.
- The ability to maintain a consistent presence at Comcast’s headquarters.
- While travel is estimated at 20%, this role requires the flexibility to attend major industry milestones such as SCTE Cable-Tec Expo and CES.
