About the role
The Role As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for Sales and the Development of the Victaulic Fire Protection product range and system in the Manchester area + Scotland.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales and promotion of Company FP product range in the region.
- Report on weekly basis to the Sales Director on activities and marketing information & achieve the budgeted sale and results.
- Promote the Victaulic System for binding application products.
- Field demonstrate the proper installation of the Victaulic FP product & tool range.
- Pursue and obtain the acceptance and specification of the Victaulic System by Owners and Engineering Consulting companies.
- Ensure that the proper knowledge of the Victaulic FP products and system is present in the region, through usage of adequate means such as: seminars, training, technical literature, and technical support.
- Liaise with the local Victaulic distributor and ensure the proper information flow is available and maintained.
- Visit job sites and follow up the installation process of the Victaulic FP System by the contractor.
- Train the contractor's personnel in usage and installation of the Victaulic FP system if required.
- Handle product claims in cooperation with Victaulic Corporate Engineering department.
- Provide assistance to finance personnel in collecting receivables from customers.
- Co-ordinate with other sales colleagues in the territory.
Requirements
- University / College degree, preferably as a mechanical engineer, or demonstrate equivalent.
- Technical knowledge acquired through experience (minimum 5 years).
- Familiarity with the piping business - or show the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.
Qualifications

- Willing to travel as required (up to 75%).
- Strong communication skills and professional appearance.
- Knowledge of any other language is an asset.
