About Us
The Windjammer Restaurant is a 400-seat establishment serving lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday. A true Burlington favorite for almost 50 years, known for its welcoming atmosphere and quality American-style cuisine, especially steak and seafood. Located in South Burlington, we proudly operate two restaurants under one roof: the Windjammer Restaurant and the Upper Deck Pub.
Responsibilities
- Cooking during dinner services
- Assembling salads and other cold items
- Assisting with food preparation before and after shifts
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen workspace
Requirements
- Work well under pressure with a team while maintaining our high standards
- Friendly and dependable
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25–40 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred
