AdvisaCare Hospice is seeking volunteers to support hospice patients in Saginaw County. No healthcare experience is required, and the position is open to individuals aged 18 and older.

• Sitting Bedside with Hospice Patients in Nursing Facilities
• Providing Caregiver Relief inside Private Residences
• Pet Therapy (already licensed dogs) to visit with patients
• Play the Guitar Bedside of hospice patients
• Bereavement Volunteer Support Calls to Family & Assisting with Grief Groups
• Pre-Med Students who want to learn about gerontology patient care
• Grief Support (Remote)

Requirements

• Willing to submit TB and Drug Tests
• To be Fingerprinted
