Safety Technician I

About the role

At Lewis Energy Group, we are seeking a Safety Technician II to provide expert safety oversight in dynamic field environments, support and enhance safe practices in completions, identify and evaluate workplace risks, ensure compliance across facilities and field locations, and help lower costs by preventing injuries and loss.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Minimum 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic math skills
• Excellent problem-solving and reasoning abilities
• Experience in supporting drilling or frac operations in the area of safety
• CSHO, ASP, CSP, OSHA-30, OSHA 500/501, 510/511 are preferred
