About the role

  • Responsible for pre-analytical processes within the life cycle of the laboratory specimen: collection, packaging, shipping, receiving, processing, tracking, and archiving
  • Receives and stores reagents both in the facility and in LabVantage
  • Manages inventory
  • Performs post-analytical processes, including sample disposition and archive sendouts
  • Contributes to laboratory maintenance, as assigned
  • Interfaces with Eurofins DPT clients to resolve specimen inquiries and requests
  • Recommends changes in services, processes, and policies that enhance pre-analytical efficiencies
  • Performs duties in compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies
  • Affords assistance to department as needed with routine operations
  • Supports Eurofins DPT’s business philosophy, leadership values, and ethics
  • Maintains compliance with Eurofins DPT’s quality policy and objectives

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 0 – 2 years of experience in the clinical laboratory testing environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong communication and analytical skills

  • This laboratory carefully maintains all hazardous materials
  • All employees must abide by Eurofins DPT’s Safety and Exposure procedures
  • Use of provided safety clothing and equipment required
  • List of potential chemical hazards available upon request

Additional Information

  • Compensation: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Thursday-Sunday 8:00pm-6:30am
