Responsibilities

• Safety observations with active correction
• Document findings and working with the team to resolve
• Document and turn in observation sheets to the team Lead
• Giving facility tours to new employees focusing on exit locations, safety showers/ eyewash stations, etc.
• Mapping out locations for future tools
• Adhere to strict facility standard operating procedures with a focus on safety, quality, and effective team communication.
• Work in a semiconductor cleanroom environment while wearing a cleanroom suit or other PPE

Requirements

• OSHA 30 required
• Experience working in a safety role
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working in an equipment installation or preventative maintenance role
• Ability to read documents and understand safety equipment
• Understanding of EH&S principles & processes
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate as a team to get work done and advance work practices for effectiveness and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
• High School Diploma / GED
• Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and background check
• May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.

Skills

Preferences: Management Skillset, experience working in a semiconductor fab/sub fab, safety training / certifications.
