About the role

The Safety Technician is responsible for ensuring the safety of employees and visitors in the workplace. This includes conducting regular inspections, implementing safety protocols, and addressing any hazards found.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine safety inspections of the workplace
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures
  • Respond to and investigate safety incidents
  • Train employees on safety best practices
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety-related role
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license
  • First aid and CPR certification

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with safety software and databases
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Pay
