Safety Specialist

Role Overview The Safety Specialist applies scientific and practical knowledge of safety compliance to innovate, design, and enhance systems, processes, equipment, and tools to improve safety characteristics aligned with operations, new models, and business goals, promoting safety excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead department efforts and support improvement projects focused on safety.Implement PDCA cycles to reduce injuries and hazards, ensuring continuous safety improvements.Support safety culture development by collaborating with leaders, advocates, and committees.Interpret and apply safety management policies and procedures, participating in policy review and updates.Perform complex safety activities such as risk assessments, ergonomic studies, and process innovations.Present safety data, analyze trends, and report findings clearly.Develop technical expertise and professional skills. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field.0-4 years of safety experience.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Knowledge of health and safety regulations and injury prevention strategies.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and effective planning abilities. Work Conditions: Open and manufacturing environments, with possible overtime, shift work, minimal travel, and the ability to perform production line tasks.
