Responsibilities
- Ensure a secure, orderly, and therapeutic environment across facilities
- Promote proactive safety practices, client-centered communication, and facility support
- Uphold trauma-informed principles in daily interactions and safety-related activities
- Emphasize observation, prevention, and supportive engagement rather than enforcement
- Collaborate closely with clinical, operational, and behavioral-health teams to reinforce safety expectations, support emergency response processes, and maintain an environment that promotes client dignity and organizational stability
Requirements
- Required Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- A valid Level 2 license through the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department
- A valid driver's license and insurability under organizational policy for driving duties
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Availability for some rotations or night coverage based on business demands
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in safety, security, or behavioral-health settings
- Training or certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), trauma-informed care, or emergency preparedness
- Training or certification in First Aid/CPR
