Safety Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Safety Specialist with a strong safety and health background to innovate, design, and improve safety systems, processes, equipment, and tools in alignment with operations, new models, and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Leading department initiatives and supporting complex safety improvement projects
• Applying PDCA cycles to reduce hazards and promote continuous safety enhancements
• Supporting safety culture development through collaboration with leaders and committees
• Interpreting and applying safety management policies and procedures
• Conducting risk assessments, ergonomic studies, and documenting safety activities
• Presenting safety data analysis and trending results
• Developing technical expertise and professional skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related fields
• 0-4 years of safety experience
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and data analysis skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations, injury prevention, and root cause analysis
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to prioritize tasks

Working conditions
