Safety Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Safety Specialist to apply scientific and practical expertise in safety compliance, aiming to innovate, design, and enhance systems, processes, equipment, and tools to promote safety excellence.

Responsibilities

• Leading department initiatives and supporting complex safety improvement projects.
• Implementing PDCA cycles to reduce injuries and hazards, fostering continuous safety improvements.
• Collaborating with department leaders and safety committees to develop a strong safety culture.
• Interpreting and applying safety management policies, conducting risk assessments, ergonomic studies, and documenting safety activities.
• Analyzing safety data, preparing reports, and presenting safety performance results.
• Developing technical expertise and professional skills in safety practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• 0-4 years of safety experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and injury prevention strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and problem‑solving abilities.
• Understanding of business planning, budgeting, and root cause analysis.
