Safety Site Supervisor (Traveling)

InPwr, Inc. is seeking a Safety Site Supervisor to join their dynamic team. Based in Indianapolis, IN, with offices in Denver, CO, and Los Angeles, CA, they are an award-winning electrical design-build firm with over 40 state licenses and national projects. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor on-site safety technicians, coordinators, and assistants.
- Enforce all federal, state, local, and company safety regulations on the project site with authority to stop unsafe work immediately.
- Develop, maintain, and update the project-specific Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and Site Safety & Health Plan (SSHP).
- Prepare and review Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA) / Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) for all definable phases of work.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections, weekly comprehensive audits, and documented follow-up on corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations (injuries, near-misses, property damage), perform root-cause analysis, and develop corrective/preventive action plans.
- Chair weekly safety meetings and deliver toolbox talks as needed.
- Oversee subcontractor safety performance and conduct subcontractor safety orientations and audits.
- Maintain all safety records, training documentation, permits, certifications, and reports required by the contract.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owner, client, and regulatory agency safety inspections.
- Track and report safety metrics (TRIR, near-miss rates, etc.) to project leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience on commercial, industrial, or heavy-civil projects.
- Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Outreach card (OSHA 500/501 preferred).
- Proven experience leading safety teams and enforcing safety on multi-trade construction sites.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926, EM 385-1-1 (preferred), and state-specific regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
Qualifications
- Preferred (but not required): CHST, STS-C, ASP, CSP, or SMS
- First Aid / CPR / AED Instructor
- Fall Protection, Scaffold, Excavation, or Crane Competent Person training

Schedule
Stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
