Qualifications

• 5–8 years of safety experience in heavy civil, heavy highway, underground utility, or industrial construction
• Strong understanding of construction safety principles and OSHA requirements
• Experience working with union workforces is highly preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel between local jobsites
• Preferred: OSHA 30 Construction (required or ability to obtain within six months)
• Experience with safety management software (Safety Plus, KPA, HCSS Safety, etc.)
• CHST, ASP, or similar certification is a plus—but not required
• Experience partnering with HR on workers' compensation, onboarding, and return-to-work programs
