Qualifications
- 5–8 years of safety experience in heavy civil, heavy highway, underground utility, or industrial construction
- Strong understanding of construction safety principles and OSHA requirements
- Experience working with union workforces is highly preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel between local jobsites
- Preferred: OSHA 30 Construction (required or ability to obtain within six months)
- Experience with safety management software (Safety Plus, KPA, HCSS Safety, etc.)
- CHST, ASP, or similar certification is a plus—but not required
- Experience partnering with HR on workers' compensation, onboarding, and return-to-work programs
