Safety Program Manager
The Safety Program Manager will manage the McKinstry Safety Program and assigned safety professionals at the business unit level. They will also manage subject specific safety programs and associated data to ensure enterprise compliance.
- Leadership Management:
- Aids Business Units in developing annual Safety Business Plans.
- Establishes Safety Training expectations for assigned Business Units.
- Maintains and reports on safety performance through auditing and incident investigations.
- Project/Field Support:
- Affirms project teams with adherence to safety and loss control policies.
- Develops site-specific safety plans applying McKinstry Safety Programs to unique project considerations.
- Executes site-specific safety plans.
- Assists project teams with lessons learned or safety program feedback.
- Verifies subcontractors comply with OSHA standards.
- Supports Field and Safety Program Specialists as needed.
- Periodically assists with superintendent duties.
- Daily Site Visits:
- Participates in preconstruction activities to assess safety risks.
- Facilitates safety stand downs in the field.
Qualifications
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio).
- Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Five (5) years of experience with emphasis on construction and/or industrial safety.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or related field preferred.
- Experience in Safety Management.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint and Power BI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72,090 - $107,370 per year. The offer may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, along with a comprehensive benefits package including:
