Safety Program Coordinator
About The Role
As a Safety & Training Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution and tracking of safety and training initiatives across the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate documentation, efficient scheduling, and effective communication of safety and training programs. Your work will directly support operational performance, compliance, and the continuous improvement of our safety culture across power infrastructure operations nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain schedules for safety trainings, onboarding sessions, and leadership development programs.
- Develop, track, and maintain training records, safety documentation, and compliance data.
- Build, update, and manage reports, dashboards, and trackers using Excel and other tools.
- Prepare and format presentations, reports, and communications for safety leadership.
- Support onboarding processes, including scheduling required safety and compliance training.
- Facilitate communication between safety, training, operations, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain organized filing systems for safety reports, incident documentation, and training records.
- Provide administrative support for safety initiatives, audits, and regulatory requirements
Key Qualifications (Must-Have)
- A high school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative or support role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- A high attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
Key Nice-To-Haves
- Experience supporting a safety and/or training organization.
- Experience with training management systems or safety platforms (e.g., LMS, SafetyCulture).
- Relevant certifications in administrative support or office management.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods; use hands and fingers for typing and data entry; and communicate effectively via phone and computer. The role may require occasional standing, walking, and reaching.
