Safety Professional – Short Term

Responsibilities

• Identify safety hazards and communicate with site crews and management to mitigate these hazards.
• Develop positive professional relationships while working closely with field personnel, all levels of management and outside agencies during all phases of construction.
• Cookordination and conduct audits of all crews to identify areas for improvement of unsafe work conditions and practices and recognize those for safe work practices.
• Document and communicate site audit information.
• Audit training records of all field personnel.
• Implement all federal, local, and site programs, policies, and procedures.
• Receive, review, and participate with the development of accident briefs, safety-related publications, bulletins, and reports.
• Participate with the development of Site-Specific Safety Plans and kick off/safety meetings.
• Review client/owner specific requirements and determine our client complies.

Requirements

• Current CPR / First Aid Card Required
• OSHA 30 Hour Construction Required
• CHST, OSHA 500 Preferred
• Relevant safety experience required

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic word processing and generate spreadsheets as necessary.
• Access and use the Internet and E-mail.

Benefits

• Per Diem: Not Available - Client provides man camp with 3 meals/day

Pay

• Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00/hour

Schedule

• Anticipated Start Date: Mid-to-Late July
• Anticipated Duration: 2-3 Months
• Anticipated Hours/Week: 50 - 60 (Nightshift)
