Safety Professional – Short Term
Responsibilities
- Identify safety hazards and communicate with site crews and management to mitigate these hazards.
- Develop positive professional relationships while working closely with field personnel, all levels of management and outside agencies during all phases of construction.
- Cook up and conduct audits of all crews to identify areas for improvement of unsafe work conditions and practices and recognize those for safe work practices.
- Document and communicate site audit information.
- Audit training records of all field personnel.
- Implement all federal, local, and site programs, policies, and procedures.
- Receive, review, and participate with the development of accident briefs, safety-related publications, bulletins, and reports.
- Participate with the development of Site-Specific Safety Plans and kick off/safety meetings.
- Review client/owner specific requirements and determine our client complies.
Requirements
- Current CPR / First Aid Card Required
- OSHA 30 Hour Construction Required
- CHST, OSHA 500 Preferred
- Relevant safety experience required
Qualifications
- Ability to perform basic word processing and generate spreadsheets as necessary.
- Access and use the Internet and E-mail.
