Safety Personnel

About the role

Our client is seeking an Experienced Safety Personnel to join their team and ensure a safe working environment across our construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, occupational health, and compliance management. This role is crucial in promoting safety standards and ensuring adherence to regulations such as OSHA and NEC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Provide training and guidance on safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency procedures.
• Assist in the investigation of incidents to determine root causes.
• Collaborate with construction management teams to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions for compliance management purposes.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and standards related to EHS (Environmental Health and Safety).

Requirements

• Proven experience in safety management within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of risk management principles and occupational health standards.
• Proficiency in using construction management software for tracking safety metrics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to train diverse teams on safety protocols effectively.
• A proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing preventative measures on construction sites.

Work Details

Ability to commute to Arlington, TX 76001 is preferred, and the work location is in person.
