Safety Manager (Mission Critical)
About the role
Aldridge is seeking a Safety Manager (Mission Critical) to join its dynamic and energetic team in Richmond, Virginia. The Safety Professional serves in a dual role: initially operating in a consultative capacity by providing expert support, guidance, and motivation to operations management and employees at all levels, and additionally working hands‑on with management to deliver safety initiatives and programs that develop an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture supporting the goal of “Nobody Gets Hurt” in all work performed by AE. In this role you will champion the IIF culture, lead and coordinate safety initiatives and related programs for a geographic region, and drive communication, planning, implementation, supervision, and measurement in compliance with corporate safety standards, OSHA, and other federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Champion the organization’s IIF Culture and focus efforts on improving defenses to control exposure and systematic integration of human performance principles
