About the Role

The Safety Manager oversees occupational safety, environmental health, food safety, and risk management within a large-scale workforce community.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs, conduct safety audits, and perform incident investigations.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate emergency response and vendor health services.
• Deliver employee safety training and promote a safety culture through coaching and community engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of safety experience.
• Vendor management skills and knowledge of incident investigation and safety metrics.
• Certifications such as ServSafe and OSHA preferred.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Physical capability to work in active environments.

Additional Requirements

• Completion of pre-employment safety training.
• Certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
• Certification in various safety protocols within 90 days of hire.
• Willingness to work flexible hours in a 24/7 community setting.
