As a Safety Manager in Fayetteville, GA, you’ll lead the charge in building a culture where safety is more than a priority — it’s a core value. You’ll ensure best practices are implemented, compliance standards are met, and every team member goes home safe each day. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe on commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
- Conduct daily safety meetings
- Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
- Perform daily safety audits and inspections
- Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
- Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years direct construction safety experience required
- Degree in a safety-related field preferred
- OSHA 510 and/or 500 certification a plus
- CHST or CSP certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
