Safety Manager (Construction)

About the role

We are partnered with a top General Contractor who has a phenomenal reputation in the Wisconsin market, as well as nationally. They are on the search for someone who still wants to grow with a firm. The company has been in business over 100 years with a very strong pipeline in the area. They are looking to expand their construction team as part of their growth plan by hiring a Safety Manager to take on some key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in site safety management, incident investigation, and quality management.
• Comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Proficient in using safety inspection tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and influence others.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Pay

$95,000 - $110,000 per year
