About the role
The Safety Manager in Charlottesville, VA supports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhances a culture of safety. Oversees all aspects of the commercial construction project within the pharmaceutical facility ensuring OSHA compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily safety meetings
- Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
- Perform daily safety audits and inspections
- Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
- Write job hazard analysis (JHA) and health & safety plans (HASP)
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years direct construction safety experience required
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical safety protocols
- OSHA 510 required
- Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to coach and mentor in all facets of the construction safety process
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills

Pay Range: $120,000‑$150,000
