Safety Manager

About the role

The Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and health of employees at the Hopewell, VA facility. They will oversee all safety programs and initiatives, conduct regular safety audits, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all safety programs and initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Experience with risk assessment and hazard identification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
