Safety Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives across multiple projects and locations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal standards
• Conduct audits, site inspections, and risk assessments, providing clear recommendations to mitigate hazards
• Develop and deliver safety training programs, ensuring consistent understanding across field teams and subcontractors
• Maintain and continuously improve safety policies, procedures, and documentation
• Partner with leadership to drive safety strategy and improve overall performance metrics
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Oversee safety reporting, presentations, and communication to senior leadership
• Support the hiring, development, and performance management of safety personnel

What They're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in environmental health and safety, ideally within construction, mechanical, or industrial environments
• Experience leading safety programs across multiple sites or regions
• Strong understanding of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations (NFPA, EPA, DOT)
• Prior experience managing or mentoring safety professionals
• Able to influence teams in both office and field environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage all levels of an organization
• OSHA certifications (10, 30, or 500)
• CHST, ASP, or similar professional credentials
• CPR / First Aid certification
