The Safety Investigator supports the Safety Investigations Manager in executing the comprehensive NetJets Safety Program by conducting thorough investigations of safety events, incidents, accidents, and identified hazards. This role actively participates in the Safety Risk Management (SRM) process, collaborating with operational departments and third‑party providers to identify hazards, analyze contributing factors, and support the development, implementation, and monitoring of effective safety risk controls.
Responsibilities
- Conduct safety investigations of incidents, irregular events, and hazards with guidance from senior Safety Investigators or the Safety Investigations Manager; investigations may be performed remotely or on site
- Ability to travel as needed with little to no notice to support safety investigations
- Collect, analyze, and document investigative data, including reports, evidence, and contributing factors, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
- Participate in the Safety Risk Management (SRM) process, including hazard identification, safety risk analysis, and documentation of safety risk controls
