Safety Intern

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or contribute to defined projects focused on improved EHS data collection, management, communication, from facility to enterprise – level
• Aid in the development and implementation of corporate policies, procedures, training and programs such as; MNOSHA, CWA, RCRA, SPCC, and ESG
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship
• Develop working knowledge of federal, state and local environmental, health & safety regulations
• Interact with site EHS leaders and corporate staff on various projects and initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or a related discipline
• Minimum GPA-3.0
• Prior Internship or work experience in a safety related position
