Safety Intern
Responsibilities
- Lead and/or contribute to defined projects focused on improved EHS data collection, management, communication, from facility to enterprise – level
- Aid in the development and implementation of corporate policies, procedures, training and programs such as; MNOSHA, CWA, RCRA, SPCC, and ESG
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship
- Develop working knowledge of federal, state and local environmental, health & safety regulations
- Interact with site EHS leaders and corporate staff on various projects and initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or a related discipline
- Minimum GPA-3.0
- Prior Internship or work experience in a safety related position
