Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and update safety programs such as job hazard analysis, personal protective equipment assessments, and hazard communication programs including safety data sheet inventories.
• Assist in updating corporate office emergency response plans and training material.
• Visit retail and corporate facilities in the Salisbury, NC and Charlotte, NC area.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety or related field.
• Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Reliable transportation as the position will require travel to retail and corporate locations in the Salisbury, NC and Charlotte, NC area.

Schedule

Approximately 12-week internship session with competitive pay.

Pay

Individual cohort pay rates vary based on location, academic year, and position.

• ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $18.10 - $34.20
• IL/MA/MD Salary Range: $20.00 - $37.80

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and be available from May 24, 2027, through August 13, 2027. Hybrid work environment requiring a minimum of three days a week in the office.
