Safety/Environmental Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough surveys of workplace safety programs and identify/assess safety and environmental hazards.
• Review safety policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance with applicable directives.
• Maintain accident and incident records, reports, and documentation to support organizational activities.
• Affiliate in developing briefings, safety training, and participate in meetings.
• Work independently with strong attention to detail and utilize excellent oral and written communication skills.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience
• Ability to interpret and apply safety laws, rules, and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel as needed
• Must have a security clearance

Qualifications

• MS degree in a related field (desired)
• Experience conducting workplace accident investigations (desired)
• Experience in Solid and Hazardous Waste Management (desired)
• Experience in risk management and mitigation (desired)
