Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with 3+ years related experience.
  • Experience as 5 skill level in USAF Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC), Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC), Marine Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), or Army Military MOS aircraft maintenance discipline.
  • At least 3 years minimum experience with military flight line aircraft operations and associated safety program requirements.
  • Ability to work a flexible shift schedule.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

This position will be part of the Environmental Safety & Health team supporting the F-35 Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) Interim Contract Support (ICS) operations at Luke AFB, AZ.

Desired Skills

  • Understand application of safety principles, concepts, practices, and standards to include knowledge of industry and company practices.
  • Understanding of military fighter aircraft systems, aircraft maintenance activities, and high tempo flight operations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of USAF 21-101, AFMAN 91-203.
  • Prior fifth generation aircraft maintenance and flight operational experience (plus).
