About the role
Provide Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) leadership across multiple facilities.
Responsibilities
- Standardize EHS programs, policies, and procedures
- Partner with site leadership to ensure OSHA compliance and support safety initiatives
- Conduct site audits, compliance assessments, and safety training
- Lead investigations of serious incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Develop emergency response plans, rescue procedures, and coordinate drills
- Manage high-risk safety programs such as Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, and Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV)
- Review safety metrics and develop action plans to improve safety performance
- Support new site launches and safety start-up activities
- Promote safety culture through strategic safety initiatives and leadership coaching
Qualifications & Skills
- 7–10 years of EHS experience, with 5+ years in manufacturing or automotive sectors
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA standards
- Experience developing PIV and Confined Space programs, rescue planning, and emergency response
- OSHA 30-Hour certification
- CSP, ASP, or CHST preferred
- CPR/First Aid Instructor certification preferred
- Strong presentation, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to influence leadership across multiple sites
- Willingness to travel approximately 50–70%
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS reporting systems
