Introduction to SK On Tennessee
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Develop and implement safety-related programs and processes.
- Lead the Safety Emergency Response Team within the SK On Tennessee plant.
- Oversee workplace inspections and safety training programs.
- Investigate incidents or accidents and make recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare and submit accident reports in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years safety and emergency response experience.
- Current Certification as Firefighter I/II from a national accredited organization.
- Prior experience in a supervisory capacity.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- The ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with various stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to handle conflict situations professionally.
- Pass a background check.
- Successfully complete the ERT physical agility requirements.
- CPR certified.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 Cerification (within 12 months of hire).
- Apparatus Operator (Pumper/Aerial) certification (within 12 months of hire).
