Key Areas of Responsibility

• Develop and implement safety-related programs and processes.
• Lead the Safety Emergency Response Team within the SK On Tennessee plant.
• Oversee workplace inspections and safety training programs.
• Investigate incidents or accidents and make recommendations for improvements.
• Prepare and submit accident reports in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years safety and emergency response experience.
• Current Certification as Firefighter I/II from a national accredited organization.
• Prior experience in a supervisory capacity.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• The ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with various stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to handle conflict situations professionally.
• Pass a background check.
• Successfully complete the ERT physical agility requirements.
• CPR certified.

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 Cerification (within 12 months of hire).
• Apparatus Operator (Pumper/Aerial) certification (within 12 months of hire).
