Safety Coordinator - West Coast Operations
About the role
Join IES Residential as a Safety Coordinator - West Coast Operations. Be the driving force behind safety excellence across multiple states. IES Residential is looking for a passionate and experienced Safety Coordinator to help lead and elevate our safety culture across our West Coast operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead job site safety inspections and proactively identify risks
- Partner with leadership to build and reinforce a safety-first mindset
- Deliver engaging safety trainings and lead impactful toolbox talks
- Investigate incidents and drive solutions that prevent future risks
- Serve as the go-to safety expert for both field teams and management
- Communicate safety policies clearly and effectively across all levels
Requirements
- 5+ years of safety experience (construction experience preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance
- OSHA 30 certification required, with the ability to obtain OSHA 500 certification
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to influence, lead, and collaborate across teams
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Able to travel extensively throughout the assigned region
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High School
- Minimum Years of Experience: 4-6
Skills
- First Aid/CPR Instructor certification
- Strong leadership presence and interpersonal skills

Schedule
Location & Travel: Home Base: Las Vegas, NV; Regional Travel: Salt Lake City, UT, Denver, CO, Phoenix, AZ - Travel required (50-75%)
Work Environment
- You’ll be in the field where it matters most—on active residential construction sites—working alongside crews, supervisors, and leadership.
- Expect a fast-paced, hands-on environment with travel across multiple states and exposure to real-world job site conditions.
- Physical Requirements: Walk and inspect job sites for extended periods; climb, bend, kneel, and navigate active construction environments; lift up to 25-50 lbs occasionally; wear PPE at all times on job sites; maintain strong visual and hearing awareness for hazard recognition.
