Safety Coordinator

Day to day

As a Safety Coordinator at Viking Coca-Cola, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that all facilities comply with vital Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental (EOSH) systems, adhering to esteemed ISO standards such as 9001, 14001, and 45001. Collaborating closely with the QSE Manager, you'll ensure alignment with Coca-Cola North America and Keurig-Dr. Pepper's safety governance, while also representing the company during compliance audits with regulatory agencies like OSHA and the EPA.

You'll be responsible for managing critical data and preparing reports, including accident reports, OSHA logs, and Tier II submissions, ensuring that every process is backed by a robust risk-based assessment system. Get ready to educate and train employees, lead the Safety Committee, and implement proactive measures for incident prevention, all while contributing to a continuous improvement mindset that enhances our workplace safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• One to three years of compliance or safety management experience
• A background in beverage industry policy and procedures is highly desirable
• Familiarity with ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Proficiency in basic to advanced computer skills
• A bachelor's degree is preferred, but a High School Diploma or equivalent will be considered
• Experience in an industrial or distribution environment

Pay

A competitive annual salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000
