Essential Functions
- Support implementation of the company’s safety programs across assigned projects and jobsites
- Reinforce safe work practices and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
- Observe jobsite activities and immediately address unsafe conditions or behaviors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Affirmative engagement with field personnel, foremen, project managers, and the operations team to promote safety awareness and accountability
- Assist in reinforcing a proactive, prevention-first safety culture through daily interaction and support
- Support delivery of jobsite safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training sessions
- Reinforce safety initiatives developed by the Director of Safety and Training and senior management
- Support communication between jobsite teams and safety leadership
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- OR 2 years of experience or more in construction safety
- Basic knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices
- OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification preferred
- Experience working in construction or field environments strongly preferred
