Safety Coordinator

Essential Functions

• Support implementation of the company’s safety programs across assigned projects and jobsites
• Reinforce safe work practices and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
• Observe jobsite activities and immediately address unsafe conditions or behaviors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Affirmative engagement with field personnel, foremen, project managers, and the operations team to promote safety awareness and accountability
• Assist in reinforcing a proactive, prevention-first safety culture through daily interaction and support
• Support delivery of jobsite safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training sessions
• Reinforce safety initiatives developed by the Director of Safety and Training and senior management
• Support communication between jobsite teams and safety leadership

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• OR 2 years of experience or more in construction safety
• Basic knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification preferred
• Experience working in construction or field environments strongly preferred
