Safety Coordinator
for sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. We must not repeat job title. Remove boilerplate. Must preserve all substantive info.
Let's parse the posting.
Content:
- Division: Nucor Rebar Fabrication Southwest
- Location: Phoenix, AZ, United States
- Other Available Locations: N/A (ignore)
- Welcome paragraph: description of Nucor culture etc.
- Benefits: Nucor supports its teammates with top-tier benefits like Medical, Dental, Vision, and Disability Insurance, 401K and Roth accounts, Profit sharing, Pay-for-performance bonuses, Paid parental leave, Tuition reimbursement, Stock program, Scholarships and more.
- What You'll Do: description of duties (support field and shop supervisors etc.)
- Responsibilities: list of bullet-like sentences (some with periods). We need to format as - .
- Minimum Requirements: list (legally authorized to work in US)
- Preferences: list (At least 2 years of construction safety & health experience, 5 years minimum construction related experience, Holds valid OSHA 30 training certificate, Knowledge of OSHA standards including CFR 1926, Ability to obtain OSHA 510 and then 500 in first 6 months of employment required)
- What Will Help Your Application Stand Out: list (Two-year technical degree..., OSHA 30 required, OSHA 500 and 510 preferred, Ability to work as a team member..., Organized..., Able to manage time..., Proficiency in MS Office..., Effective verbal and communication skills)
- What You Need to Know: list (We are looking for candidates who are committed to drug-free environment, Frequent and extensive travel 50-100% of the time to job sites., Must be able to work overtime when required, Occasional off prime shift work required..., Under manufacturing and job site conditions..., Walking, sitting, standing..., Some heavy lifting may be necessary, Working conditions can be noisy/dusty/hot/cold)
- Then EEO etc (remove).
We need sections: About the role (maybe the introductory paragraph about Nucor and role?), Responsibilities, Requirements (maybe Minimum Requirements?), Qualifications (maybe Preferences?), Skills (maybe What Will Help Your Application Stand Out?), Benefits (the benefits paragraph), Pay (none), Schedule (maybe travel/overtime/shift info? Actually schedule info is in What You Need to Know: travel, overtime, off prime shift. That could be schedule. But we should only create Schedule section if posting actually states them. It does state travel 50-100%, overtime, occasional off prime shift. So we can include Schedule.
Pay: no mention of salary, so omit.
We need to decide mapping:
- About the role: Could be the introductory paragraph describing Nucor and role? The posting says "Welcome to Nucor, where our unique culture sets us apart. Joining Nucor means becoming part of North America's largest steel and steel products manufacturer, offering unmatched career opportunities and stability. We are known for our innovative sustainability practices and are the continent's largest recycler. Our vibrant culture, built on personal connections and teamwork, empowers every team member with the freedom to innovate and contribute to our collective success. Experience a workplace where safety, efficiency, and meaningful personal connections define every day, enriching both our teammates and the communities we serve." That's about company, not role. But we can treat as About the role (or About the company). The instruction: use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can have About the role with that paragraph.
- Responsibilities: The "What You'll Do:" and the "Responsibilities:" sections both contain duties. We should combine? Probably we can have one Responsibilities section containing all duty bullets. The "What You'll Do:" is prose; we can put as
. Then the Responsibilities list as
.
- Requirements: Minimum Requirements (legally authorized to work in US). That's a requirement.
- Qualifications: Preferences (experience, OSHA etc.) Could be Qualifications.
- Skills: What Will Help Your Application Stand Out (technical degree, OSHA, teamwork, organized, time management, MS Office, communication). That's skills.
- Benefits: paragraph about benefits.
- Schedule: What You Need to Know includes travel, overtime, off prime shift, physical demands, working conditions. Some of that is schedule (travel, overtime, shift). Physical demands maybe not schedule but could be included. We'll include schedule items: Frequent and extensive travel 50-100% of the time to job sites., Must be able to work overtime when required, Occasional off prime shift work required to meet with teammates on other shifts. Possibly also mention working conditions? Might be better to keep schedule only those. The physical demands could be omitted or placed elsewhere? There's no separate section for physical demands; we could include them in Schedule or maybe not. Since we must preserve ALL substantive information, we cannot drop them. So we need to include them somewhere. Could add a section like "Working Conditions" but not allowed headings list; we can only use those headings. Could we put them under Responsibilities? No. Could we put under Requirements? Not really. Could we put under Qualifications? Not really. Could we put under Skills? Not really. Could we put under Benefits? No. Could we put under About the role? Not appropriate. Could we create a new heading? The instruction says use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings? It says use for section headings (e.g. ...). Likely they expect only those headings. But we need to preserve all substantive info; we could embed physical demands and working conditions within Schedule section as additional bullet points. That's acceptable: schedule section can include travel, overtime, shift, physical demands, working conditions. It's still about schedule/working conditions. So we can include them.
Thus Schedule section will have bullets: Frequent and extensive travel 50-100% of the time to job sites.; Must be able to work overtime when required; Occasional off prime shift work required to meet with teammates on other shifts.; Under manufacturing and job site conditions, must be able to walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and ladders to inspect cranes and equipment as required; Walking, sitting, standing, bending and typical office activities including using hands to operate objects, tools, computers, and other electronic equipment; Some heavy lifting may be necessary; Working conditions can be noisy/dusty/hot/cold.
Now we need to ensure we don't include boilerplate like EEO, drug-free workplace (though drug-free environment is mentioned in What You Need to Know: "We are looking for candidates who are committed to drug-free environment". That's substantive; we should keep it. It's under What You Need to Know. We could place that under Requirements or maybe as a separate bullet in Schedule? It's not schedule. Could be under Requirements (maybe as a requirement). But we already have Minimum Requirements. Could add a bullet there: Committed to drug-free environment. However the Minimum Requirements section only had legally authorized to work. We could add that as a requirement. But we must not invent headings; we can add bullet under Requirements. That seems okay.
Alternatively we could create a separate section like "Requirements" and include both legal authorization and drug-free commitment. That preserves info.
Thus Requirements section bullets: Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.; Committed to drug-free environment.
Now we need to ensure we don't duplicate content. The "What You Need to Know" also includes drug-free environment; we will move it to Requirements and not repeat.
Now we need to check other parts: "What You'll Do:" includes prose about supporting field and shop supervisors etc. We'll put that as a paragraph under Responsibilities heading before the list.
Now we need to ensure we don't include "Other Available Locations: N/A" (drop). Also "Job ID / requisition numbers" none.
Now we need to format.
Let's craft HTML:
