About the role
The Safety Coordinator promotes occupational health awareness, monitors operations, and ensures compliance with safety policies at work sites.
Responsibilities
- Conduct EHS inspections and audits
- Identify hazards and respond to incidents
- Lead incident investigations
- Manage safety programs
- Serve as a subject matter expert on safety
- Provide safety training to employees
- Communicate safety policies to all employee levels
Requirements
- Preferred related degree or certification
- At least 2 years of safety experience
- 1 year of experience in oil and gas or industrial settings
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles
